Horse Trailers

Unfortunately breaking down in a horse box or when towing a trailer does happen and can be a very stressful time for the horse and the person transporting. This is often because it has been poorly maintained.

It is recommended by The National Trailer and Towing Association that you have your trailer serviced every 6000 miles or annually, based on average use.

We service and repair all makes and models of horse boxes and trailers and can offer insurance recognised trailer security such as wheel clamps, hitch locks and alarms.

Some of the services provided by us for your horse box/ trailer:

• Full annual trailer service, which includes brakes/ over run system, tyre conditions and pressures, complete electrical system check, fully inspect bodywork including all hinges, doors locks and pins, check condition of floor and ramps, inspect suspension units and more.
• Body work and accident repair including re-spray.
• Accessory fitting.
• Pre purchase inspections.
• General engine servicing for all types of horse box.
• Air conditioning and diesel heater repairs.
• Generator servicing and repairs
• Annual habitation checks which includes gas and water systems.
• Leas anti snaking device supplied and fitted.
• Reversing camera systems and motion cameras

If you are looking to buy a Horsebox or Trailer we can offer a Pre purchase inspection service.  We can arrange to visit the seller, Inspect the vehicle thoroughly, test drive and Issue you with a report. The inspection is carried out to a high standard. It covers all Mechanical areas plus the Horse area for signs of rotten floors etc.
