Some of the aspects included in a service:
- Coupling - grease head / drawtube and linkages. Check breakaway cable and damper travel. Remove and grease jockey wheel mechanism. Check handbrake operation.
- Wheels / hubs / brakes / tyres - remove wheels and check tyres for wear and damage and date. Remove hubs and check for damage to hubs and brake shoes. Clean and grease bearings / brake shoes and moving parts, check condition of Bowden cables (adjust expander as req).
- Electrical - check plug wiring (including fly lead), clean electrical contacts and inside lights and check for corrosion and bulb failure.
- Body - check all body panels for signs of fatigue and damage. Check all fasteners are present and in good working order. Check flooring.
